This is a standalone system that works independently. The main features of this edition include New Business Accounting, Renewal Business Accounting, Claims Accounting, Treaty Rule Engine, Sum-at-Risk Engine, exhaustive reports. However, New Business and Renewal Business are rendered under batch process.


How the system works?
With the given standard file formats for NewBusiness,Renewal Business and Claims data is extracted from your existing system and given to ReNova and invoke batch process to do necessary accounting. This could be done at regular intervals or as desired

Maintenance and Control is easy: At any point of time,  if   any  record  of   the  extracted  data  is inconsistent then the system points out the exact

fault at the respective record and value. This helps you to fix the faults in data easily. Also you will have control over the system how each data is passing on through the process. At any point of time  you  may  rollback  the  transactions  and regenerate  them.  This  makes  the  maintenance easier.

Semi-automated system:
Claims need to be registered manually with ReNova to process and adjust them along with renewal process The   accounting  of claims is automated But registering of claims is manual.

Also, proposals for facultative underwriting and racking have to be entered manually. However, while processing  the  cessions  the  system  automatically identifies whether facultative case has been realized to business or not.

All the ledger accounts and reports are fully automated for new business, renewal business and claims.

Maintenance files for renewal business are required to process  the  cessions  for  alterations,  cancellations, surrenders, lapsation etc.
